Our 2008 goal of $25,000 was exceeded because of your generousity. Our 2009 Goal is $25,000 again. Are you able to help? Our 2009 goal will be updated in an attached comment as the year progresses.

Today, there is no cure for multiple sclerosis, and with diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many individuals face a lifetime filled with unpredictability.

This event is a challenge - and an opportunity - for everyone involved, participants and donors alike. With commitment to this cause, we can all be part of a historic undertaking. The funds raised from the MS Challenge Walk will not only support research to help create a world free of multiple sclerosis, but also provide programs which address the needs of hundreds of thousands of people living with MS right now. Because we choose to walk for those who sometimes can't. Because we choose to donate to the MS Challenge Walk, we are getting ever closer to the hour when no one will have to hear the words, "You have MS."

Scrap Dogs Musical Extravaganza!

The Scrap Dogs Musical Extravaganza to benefit our MS Challenge Walk Team will take place on Saturday, June 13or27, 2009 at the Glen Farm in Portsmouth, RI.

Gates will open at 10 AM, music will begin at 11 AM.

Assorted beverages and foods will be available including various local vendors.

Children's activities include moonwalk, a tattoo parlor and hair braiding.

All proceeds will benefit the New England Chapter of the MS Society and the MS Challenge Walk Team - The Scrap Dogs, a team of men and women from Newport County who participate in the 3 day 50 mile MS Challenge Walk being held September 11 - 13 in Cape Cod, MA.

Every hour of every day a person is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. MS is an unpredictable disease that can attack anyone in the prime of life. Imagine, one day you are ready to take on the world, and the next you are faced with the diagnosis of an incurable and potentially debilitating disease. Your contribution to this event will help support MS researchers efforts in searching for a cure. So that some day no one will have to hear the words " You have MS'.

Adult tickets are $20 at the gate, $15 in advance. Children 5 to 12 are $7.50 at the gate, $5.00 in advance. Children under 5 are free. If you would like to purchase tickets now please call 401-683-5377 to place your order.

No bottles, cans, or coolers are allowed at the Glen Farm. Please bring your own seating - blankets or lawn chairs.

We offer on-site signage with include a 12" x 36" sign, stage announcements, advertising and/or logo placement in our printed program materials. We will do everything possible to make sure the event attendees remembers your contribution to our cause - MS Society. Sponsors will also receive logos and links on our continually updated blog for the duration of our event publicity.

Media Attention
The Scrap Dogs has received media coverage from most regional media outlets, including newspapers, TV, and online sources, with print, radio and television spots. Our Rock Out with the Scrap Dogs event was publicized with the help of Clear Channel radio channels, East Bay Newspapers, Newport Daily News, Mercury, The Phoenix and others drawing a diverse audience to see the event.

Performers sponsorship - Free with guaranteed 1 hour performance includes on-stage signage during your performance, on-site signage, stage announcements, full page advertisement and/or logo placement in our printed program material, your logos and links on our continually updated blog for the duration of our event publicity. Also two tickets per band member performing during event up to 10 tickets.

Alpha Dog (Presented by) sponsorship - $5000.00
Alpha Dog (Presented by) sponsorship provides you the opportunity to have your name included in the title of this event. Also includes you name on promotional posters displayed at no less then 100 locations in Newport County, on-site signage, on-stage signage, stage announcements, full color/back page advertisement and/or logo placement in our printed program material, your logos and links on our continually updated blog for the duration of our event publicity. 10 x 10 booth space during event. No tent, electricity, tables or chairs are provided. Also includes 10 tickets to the event.This category of sponsorship is limited to one company and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis upon receipt of sponsorship. Right of first refusal for title sponsorship of next years event.

Scrap Dog sponsorship - $1000.00
Scrap Dog sponsorship includes you name on promotional posters displayed at no less then 100 locations in Newport County, on-site signage, stage announcements, Front/Back full page advertisement and/or logo placement in our printed program material, your logos and links on our continually updated blog for the duration of our event publicity. 10 x 10 booth space during event. No tent, electricity, tables or chairs are provided. Also includes six tickets to the event. This category is limited to just two companies/individuals and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis upon receipt of sponsorship. Right of first refusal for corporate sponsorship of next years event.

Scrap Puppy sponsorship - $500.00
Scrap Puppy sponsorship includes you name on promotional posters displayed at no less then 100 locations in Newport County, on-site signage, stage announcements, full page advertisement and/or logo placement in our printed program material, your logos and links on our continually updated blog for the duration of our event publicity. 10 x 10 booth space during event. No tent, electricity, tables or chairs are provided. Also includes four tickets to the event.

Vendor sponsorship with Vehicle/Cart - $200.00
Vendor sponsorship includes stage announcements, quarter page advertisement and/or logo placement in our printed program material, your logos and links on our continually updated blog for the duration of our event publicity. Space provided for your vehicle/cart in a location accessible by attendees. No tent, electricity, tables or chairs are provided. If electricity is necessary additional costs will be required.

Vendor sponsorship - $150.00
Vendor sponsorship includes stage announcements, quarter page advertisement and/or logo placement in our printed program material, your logos and links on our continually updated blog for the duration of our event publicity. 10 x 10 booth space during event. No tent, electricity, tables or chairs are provided. If electricity is necessary additional costs will be required.

Program Advertising
